BUILD (Broader Urban Involvement & Leadership Development), inc. is a non-profit on Chicago's West Side. The organization has been impacting Chicago's most challenging neighborhoods since 1969 with their work in gang intervention, gang prevention, and youth development and education. Their mission is to "engage at-risk youth in schools and on the streets to help them realize their potential and contribute to our communities." The organization provides after-school and summer programs ranging from art classes, music/podcast recording, jewelry making, outdoor gardening, field trips, career building, and more.
